This One will Leave you Wanting More!

Ebonite’s best-selling ball last season is back for an encore in a hybrid version featuring HK22. The One Remix produced a lot of backend motion for a solid, without HK22, and was a crowd favorite. With this release, we have cranked up the performance by adding HK22 to the famous GB14.4 cover and Centrex core. Bowlers should have a lot of confidence in this release since HK22 has become the cover standard for performance, and the Centrex core has been inside some of the best balls in history. This One will leave you wanting more!

My first sanctioned 300 with it!

I was extremely shocked by the reaction and the strength that The One Encore displayed. I watched several videos of the ball in action, but the Tommy Jones video, really pulled me towards making the purchase. I played with the surface by polishing it, but the reaction wasn't the same as the box reaction, so I changed it back to box finish. The One Encore is normally the first ball out of my bag during league and tournament play, in order to see how deep I can play the lanes. In the attached photos, game 1 was a slight struggle trying to get a read on the pattern, but I decided to follow my mind and move left and play to break-point. Game 2 proved my move was the correct move, which resulted in my first sanctioned 300. Game 3 was pretty much nerves after shooting the 300, and I didn't continue chasing it left.

I made sure I purchased a second Encore in case something happened to the first one!

Really Strong

I use this in league and this ball hooks! Ball definitely needs oil though, I tried bowling on regular night games and it hooks way too much on dry lanes. On fresh oil it performs really well just not so great on casual lanes that are broken down.

Well Rounded

Layout: 55 x 5 x 40

More hook than you realize to sum it up. The One series has notoriously been a smooth ball with quite a bit of hook out of the box. This one hooks 3-4 more than the One Remix. With the symmetrical core, it’s going to have a predictable motion on the backend, but the strength of the cover may give you less downlane due to an earlier ball roll.

After putting about 15 games on the ball, it's tamed down a bit, but provided even more control and well roundedness and has turned into my house shot killer.

Encore!

Great shelf appeal! Great performance! The Encore will be the go to ball when The One Remix isn’t turning the corner or isn’t quite strong enough for the condition.

The One is back...again!

The One Encore is here and following the suit of HK22 additive included in the cover-stock, Ebonite has introduced a compliment to the One Remix. With the OOB finish, I used this ball on a fresh 43' pattern on the new Brunswick white panels, and see really strong continuation off the end of the pattern. I am able to control the back end as with all previous versions of "The One". This ball does not jerk when encountering friction still yielding the same continuous motion, strong finish, and ideal hitting power. I think adding some surface would be great for sport patterns. The 4000 OOB finish does lane shine quickly. I do recommend a 3000 pad to add a little more early hook if needed. Pick one up and enjoy this iconic bowling ball.
