Even Bigger with HK22!

Whenever Tommy Jones is asked about his favorite ball of all time, he always points to the Big Time. Tommy throwing the Big Time on TV was memorable for many bowlers, and we thought it was time to finally put the Big Time back in Tommy’s bag. The Big Time Special Edition has the same core shape and colors as the original and will be a favorite benchmark type of ball. While the colors are the same, the cover has been updated with HK22 and the GB 13.7 additives. This throwback perfectly fits the current Ebonite line, adding a symmetric pearl with a dull finish that can be used on medium to heavy oil conditions, and it will work great when bowlers need earlier and stronger mid-lane motion than the Emerge or GB4 Hybrid.

Big Time SE - House Patterns and Sport Patterns

The Big Time SE has really good shape sometimes a little too good. Meaning it is there, there then the movement is so strong off the spot the back row is waving at you sometimes with friends. The good thing about that The Big Time SE it takes polish and surface well, this is one of those bowling balls when it lane polishes you are not mad to see it, just be careful that it doesn’t lane polish too much and totally lose reaction. It is a battle of looking good versus looking great really no middle. So, I suggest if you find a surface you like try to keep it that way.

Big ball energy

I have to admit, I was missing out when this was first released years ago. I'm glad I had a chance to snag this ball because it is my go to for heavy oil and when I need something before I need a skid/flip.

Big Time SE

Ball: Ebonite Big Time SE
Coverstock: HK22 - GB13.7 Pearl
Core: Big Time
Factory Finish: 500, 1000, 1500
Layout: 50 x 5 x 30

I was super excited to see the Big Time back on the lanes. The name and color combo alone takes me back. In the Big Time SE, the cover is updated to more modern touches but the core and colors are the same as the original. The great thing about the Big Time is that we have a dull pearl out of the box, which makes it unique. I find this an easy step down option from the higher end asymmetrical balls when you need an earlier, smooth rolling, controlled benchmark type reaction.

BIG TIME

Big Time revs up quick in the fronts with a strong and smooth controllable arc down lane. This has become my favorite ball in my bag.
