Ebonite Staffer Wendy Chai Garners Second Tournament Victory
HOPKINSVILLE, Ky.—Using Ebonite’s Angular One, international staff member Wendy Chai captured the Women’s Crown for a second time at the Asian Bowling Federation (ABF) Tour’s Tournament of Champions on January 15, 2007.
“The Angular One is known for its ability to conquer any lane condition and has definitely become the one ball to beat,” said Mike Quitter, Ebonite’s international vice president. ‘Combined with Wendy’s command of the lanes, her performance has yet again proved that Ebonite is The One to beat.”
The tournament, held at the Jaya Ancol Bowling Centre in Jakarta, Indonesia, was very competitive. Chai beat out Kim Eun Jung of Korea in the finals by bowling six strikes, taking the match 248-210.
