Orlando, FL—The Aloma Bowling Centers (ABC) announced that it has hired Kendra Gaines as its General Manager for Aloma Bowl. Gaines adds significant bowling credentials and business acumen to a management team that already boasts a staff with accomplished bowling expertise.

“As we move our centers forward, it was important to me to add to our management team someone who is not only a recognized and accomplished bowler, but also someone who understands guest service and how to run a business”, said Vincent Luccisano, owner of the Aloma Bowling Centers. “Kendra is very talented in both areas and I look forward to her continuing to improve the guest experience at Aloma Bowl.”

In addition to being General Manager of Aloma Bowl, Ms. Gaines will oversee ABC’s Elite Youth Team and be involved with all three centers’ youth programs and leagues. Kendra is a USBC Silver Certified Bowling Coach and was an Assistant Coach to the Junior Team USA.

As a PWBA member, she won two championships and was ranked as high as #4 in the region. She’s competed internationally and has won numerous awards, including Bowlers Journal All-American team and WBC second team All-American. She was inducted to the Washington, DC WBA Hall of Fame in 2004. Most recently, Kendra earned a spot on Team USA in 2010. She has also owned and operated pro shops.

“I am very excited to be part of the Aloma Bowling Centers”, said Gaines. “Looking in from the outside, the Aloma Bowling Centers have always been perceived as the premier bowling centers in the Southeast. I am honored to be a part of the growth and direction of the centers’ future.”

Kendra joins a management group that includes substantial bowling expertise, including former professional bowler Ray Koehler, who is a bowling icon in the Central Florida market and was most recently inducted to the Orlando Bowling Hall of Fame. Koehler was a member of both the PBA and the Sr. PBA tours and was the co-founding member of both the Central Florida Bowling Proprietors Association and the Senior Bowlers of America. The ABC management team also includes Tara Nesseralla, who was one of the leaders of the nationally celebrated UCF bowling team which won numerous tournaments and helped lead the Striking Knights to a runner-up finish in the 2005-6 National Championship and numerous #1 tournament rankings. Tara had a top ten rookie of the year ranking.
