 Mission $250K - thoughts and a review
Ok...I'm going to be honest here. I have not drilled a high performance Ebonite ball in the 3 years I've been back bowling. I throw mostly Storm and Roto Grip. I really liked the looks of the $250K on tv so I figured I'd give it a shot. I had my local pro shop put a 45 x 5.5 x 45 layout in the ball. This puts the pin right above my middle finger. After bowling a 277 my first game and a 756 for my first 3 games, on the nationals pattern, I am not regretting my purchase whatsoever. The ball goes long and it looks like some one kicks it left. I did take the surface to 2000 for a sooner read. The ball still has a ton of energy stored and it picks up just a little sooner than it did OOB. I'm very impressed with this ball. I've only used it on a sport condition and would probably be lofting the gutter cap if I used this on a house shot. Really looking forward to next season and doing tournaments with this ball. Should make some money...i hope.
