Just saw the video and rather quiet product announcement.. Colour me interested.

However, I'm wondering how this compares to the polished up Challenge Tommy was throwing in the Challenge video, plus how it would compare to Hammer's First Blood.

Looking at the ball motion, it appears to turn the corner to face the pocket earlier than the First Blood, but appears to have the same motion as the polished up Challenge. Which would be better to ball down to if the conditions break down? The Champion, or a polished, pin-up Challenge?

so far with my Champion i can for sure tell you it hooks just as much as the First Blood.
the biggest difference is that the Champion is a pinch smoother off the corner which too me is a little more versatile of a reaction.
but, the pearl cover gets it thru the front part of the lane just fine.
my Champion kicks harder off the dry better than my Challenge did too.
