I am an amateur bowler trying to find the safest/least expensive way to get the oil out of my Taboo. I think it might be a Taboo Pearl, but I am not entirely sure. This is my first high performance ball. What methods and products would you suggest? Is there someone whom I can contact to find this information?

I would suggest taking the ball to your local pro shop and let them take the oil out as they have the proper equipment for that.

As Zothen stated, your pro shop has the proper equipment to extracted. They use a Revivor or rejuvinator oven to extract oil. PowerHouse has a new system called The Wave. It is a chamber that uses water with a solution, water. The unit heats the water and as the water is heated and cirulated it pulls the extracted oil off the surface of the ball.

i would take it also to your proshop, if you follow a lot of the bowling tips on doing this stuff to your bowling ball people post they can damage your ball. Then what cost a few bucks to get done right cost you $150 to get new bowling equipment.
