Post Looking to add a ball
My 17 year old son is currently averaging 195 using an Ebonite TurboX (16lbs) in our Tuesday night league.
His was an old ball of mine that we have re-drilled for him to bowl with for high school.
I would like to get him a ball from this decade and was looking at the Mission 250k.
I am guessing this ball will give him some great hitting power on the back end.

He is also planning on bowling in some upcoming tournaments that will be using both house and challenge shots.

I am not should how to have it drilled?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

wow.. TurboX. Fond memories of that ball. First reactive one I ever bought. Still have it, too!

Here is what I'd suggest. If your local pro shop is at the bowling alley, have them watch your son bowl. Let them get his rev rate, speed, etc. from the ball the Turbo X. From that, they can use the BluePrint software that Ebonite Int'l has to lay out the ball for what he'd like to do. They will not only be able to match the ball to the bowler, but also match the layout of the ball to the bowler. I'd say to give that a shot.

BTW.. Domination/250k is a great ball. shot 300 with it last week, so your son won't be disappointed if he goes with it.

BL.

I have fond memories of the TurboX also. A 300 game 11/28/2001.
Thought it would be cool if my son bowled a 300 game with the same ball someday.

I will have to see if they have that software.

Thanks
