Ed Gallagher
Ed Gallagher, brand manager for Ebonite, has made a career out of bowling that began in the northeast. After earning a communications degree at SUNY Farmingdale, Gallagher worked on the distribution side of the bowling business for nine years before joining Ebonite International as a DSM in the northeast in 1998. He served as a DSM until 2002.
In 2002, he and his family headed south and he began the task of rebuilding and rebranding Hammer. After successfully integrating Hammer back into the limelight it once rightfully owned, Gallagher was offered the opportunity to transition into the role of Ebonite brand manager and to lead Ebonite International’s flagship brand. Since that time, he has made the brand’s BOWL TO WIN® philosophy his own and, under his direction, Ebonite is now revered as the most innovative ball brand in the industry in terms of marketing, programs and, most importantly, products.
Gallagher began bowling at age nine and has since bowled competitively in nearly every major amateur tournament as well as numerous PBA Regional events and several U.S. Opens. He is also a Silver Level USBC Certified Coach. He lives in Clarksville with his wife and two children.
